Cigar Review Gurkha Ghost

I recently smoked a Gurkha Ghost cigar. First of this is a great cigar. However, it is very strong. Uniquely it never got stronger or weaker through out the smoke. Additionally this was one of the strongest cigars that I have ever smoked.

Of course I drank my typical coffee with the cigar. Furthermore this is a cigar that I would recommend to anyone who likes a strong maduro. The cigar has a lower rating than it deserves, with that said it is not for the light cigar smokers or beginners.

Details of the Smoke

The cigar was smoke with friends. As matter of fact it took me 2 hours to smoke the cigar. In light of talking to others around (I think). Equally important the cigar was lit with a butane lighter. Also it was cut with guillotine cutter. Equally important the cigar was well keep in a humidor at 70%.

Cigar Review Of Tatuaje Regios

I smoked this Tatuaje cigar with my father right before fathers day. This is one of the best cigars that I have ever smoked. Additionally I did  have anything to eat or drink.

This was a good strong cigar with rich flavor to it. The cigar burned evenly and did not have to be re lit. I highly recommend this to anyone that smokes cigars. Might be to strong for a beginner cigar smoker. The cigar had an excellent aroma to it. In light of this I can’t say enough good about this cigar.

Details of the Smoke

As a matter of fact this was a terrific smoke. Furthermore, the smoke took 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Of course, the cigar was lit with a butane lighter. By the same token it was cut with a guillotine cutter. Equally important is the cigar was smoke at Smoky’s in Knoxville, Tennessee. In light of this where the cigar was purchased. The cigar and the place where both well keep.

The Alec Bradley Post Embargo cigar was a very nice smoke. I smoked it on 5-29-17. The smoke started out with a bit of spice. Next, the smoke mellowed out as it continued.

The aroma of the smoke was very nice. Additionally, I enjoyed the cigar and would recommend it.  However, the cigar did have to be re lit once. By the same token this is a very good cigar but not great. I would rate it a B.

Details of the Smoke

As a matter of fact, the cigar was smoked with family over the memorial day weekend. I had nothing to drink with the cigar. Furthermore the cigar took 1 hour and a half to smoke.

Details of the Smoke

I smoked this cigar with family. It was well keep in a humidor. Equally important I  drank coffee with this cigar. It was lit with a butane lighter. Cut the cigar with a guillotine cutter.

However, the cut allowed to much air. The guillotine cut is my favorite cut. In light of that being said, I would recommend a punch cut with this cigar. Likewise, the cigar was strong through out. It was a 1 and half smoke. It had to be re lit once that was most likely my fault because of talking with my family while watching a ball game.

At Famous smoke it was rated a 95

At Cigar Aficionado  it was rated a 87

The camacho cigar was a great smoke. It was a smooth and creamy smoke. Additionally the cigar was enjoyable. Of course I would recommend this cigar to anyone.

However, this cigar would be exceptionally good for a beginner cigar smoker as it was not harsh. Not to mention, if there is any downside to the cigar I would say that there is nothing outstanding to it. However, it is a very solid cigar I would rate it a B.

Review of Uptown’s Smoke Shop in Nashville, TN

/ by / Tags: , , , ,

On Memorial day, I purchased and smoked a cigar at Uptown’s cigar shop in Nashville, Tennessee.  The address of the shop is 3900 Hillsboro Pike #34 Nashville, Tennessee.

First of all, this is a honest review and I am not affiliated with the cigar shop in any way. This is my first review of a shop since starting the blog.

Details of the Review of the Cigar Shop

When I purchased a CAO flat head cigar from Uptown’s on Memorial day, I was with some family members. An employee offered to help us with our selections. The employee was very nice, knowledgeable and not the least bit pushy.

We got there at 2:30 and they closed early at 4:00 for the holidays. They did not rush us out. Quite the opposite, they where very pleasant and allowed us to enjoy our cigars and watch the ball game. Additionally, the atmosphere was great. The store was very clean and well keep. The humidor was well keep and great working order.

A view from inside the Shop

They have some of the most comfortable leather chairs that I have ever sat on. Their was complementary coffee there too.  Also, there were two tv’s in the shop. They had many different cutters there, so you could get the desired cut for your cigar. The ventilation in the shop was working fantastic.

They do have a sign up in the store asking that if you purchase the cigars online you smoke them there. They have such a great smoking area that people are buying their cigars online and not from them. Even though I buy many cigars on line,  I can certainly appreciate their problem. If you are going to a shop you should purchase  a cigar or two from a shop while you are using their facilities.

I gave all the details of the experience as I can recall them. It must also be noted that I didn’t at any time tell any of the workers that I blog about cigars. I highly recommend if you are in the area, you stop by and visit the shop.

Cigar Review– Perla Del Mar L Maduro

This cigar is the first one that I have smoked since doing the blog that I don’t recommend. The cap of the cigar was loose and the cut was hard to get clean.

The cigar was average at best, It did not burn evenly and it had to be re lit several times. My preference for cigars are maduro’s ( like this one), however, I didn’t like this one.

Details of the Smoke

I smoked the cigar with friends. I had coffee with the cigar. Coffee is my favorite drink to complement a cigar. The smoke took about a 1 and half hours. The aroma of the smoke was OK. A guillotine cutter was used. To lit the cigar a butane lighter was used. It was well keep at 70% humidity.
